The project idea is based on the assumption that the implementation of “One-Stop Shops” or “Single Points of Access” for enterprises represents in many regions a key instrument to foster local economic development:
a) Simplifying the administrative procedures for entrepreneurs in the interaction with the public sector.
b) Helping manage the access to information and data at regional level in a rational way.
c) Supporting the actual or potential entrepreneurs in the setting up of new businesses or in the management of existing ones.
d) Favouring new investments of external businesses in their territories.
The project started up on March 2005 and is due to finish in February 2007.
